BBR Instructions for Contributors

All essays and book reviews submitted to the Bulletin for Biblical Research must conform to the guidelines of the SBL Handbook of Style (Peabody, MA: Hendrickson, 1999), which is readily available from bookstores and internet resellers, including www.eisenbrauns.com. 

The electronic manuscript, including the footnotes, must be double-spaced and include page numbers; please submit as a “.pdf” attachment to an email sent to the editor, omitting the author's name and any other identifying information. If accepted, final papers should be submitted in a Microsoft Word® “.doc” (not “.docx”) as well as in a “.pdf” file. Manuscripts that fail to conform to these guidelines will be returned to the author for revision.
