As Christianity continues to expand in the global South and East, demand has grown for thoughtful biblical hermeneutics and theological analysis that addresses the concerns of the Majority World as well as minority Christians. This study group aims to harness this promising moment by addressing themes central to Majority World and minority biblical studies and theology that often find no place in western discussions around traditional theological loci. The group encourages engagement with the best resources from World Christianity, especially bringing the next generation of Majority World and minority scholars into dialog with each other.
This year’s session will feature invited papers that focus on biblical and theological perspectives on Migration. Copies of the papers will be available from November 1 on this page. For further information contact K. K. Yeo (email@example.com) or Gene Green (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Six volumes from this study group are now in print by Langham Literature.
