Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in New Testament Studies, University of St Andrews (closes 25 April 2023)

The School of Divinity at the University of St Andrews (Scotland, UK) wishes to appoint a full time, permanent Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (equivalent to an assistant or associate professor in the USA) within the School of Divinity. You will be a scholar with an established or growing international research reputation in biblical studies, and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching that falls within the broad field of New Testament Studies.

The successful candidate will be expected to have a range of interests, to publish research that strengthens or complements existing research in the School, and to be capable of teaching the subject to undergraduate and taught postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds.

Appointment at Grade 8 Senior Lecturer (salary range: £56,048 – £63,059 pa, increasing to £57,696 – £64,914 pa from August 2023) will be considered for candidates with more experience/knowledge of the area, with the job description to be amended accordingly.
