The Thriving Congregations Grant Coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment, coordination, and logistics of the new Thriving Congregations Initiative. Working within grant guidelines, this role will coordinate programming execution, grant-related financial management, and grant deliverables, along with corresponding events and CPT-wide rhythms. This role is under the direct supervision of the Director of Operations and will function in close collaboration with the Executive Team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruiting program engagement from fellows, outside participants, and program consultants
  • Administration of program records, including roster management, mailings, and expense reimbursements
  • Overseeing grant deliverables, including program reporting and surveys
  • Coordinating CPT-hosted events and provide administrative support for offsite events
  • Processing financial requests, including reimbursements, invoices, and honoraria
  • Supporting in-person events, including travel and/or site visits
  • Assisting in other CPT events and organizational rhythms
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or President

Qualifications

  • Seminary degree and/or graduate theological education strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of demonstrated executive leadership in nonprofit, church, or educational fields
  • Ability to build authentic relationships with CPT fellows and partner churches and ecclesial leaders
  • Strong attention to details, systems, and processes with the ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Agreement with the CPT’s Statement of Fellowship

Work Schedule and Location

This is a full-time, exempt position with the expectation of some travel. Occasional evenings, and weekend work for special events may be required. This position can be fully remote, with hybrid options and some travel for CPT meetings expected.

Compensation

  • Salary range of $60,000 – $70,000 commensurate with experience
  • HDPPO health insurance through BCBSIL, with $3,000 HSA benefit
  • 2% retirement contribution match for 403b
  • Monthly phone allowance and annual expense account
  • Two weeks paid vacation time
