President, Wesley Biblical Seminary

Wesley Biblical Seminary seeks qualified candidates for the position of President to provide strategic leadership, foster academic excellence, and cultivate a vibrant community that nurtures spiritual growth and theological understanding within the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. The president will embrace the doctrinal commitments of the institution and advocate for the three essential doctrinal commitments: Trinitarian orthodoxy, Biblical inerrancy, and entire sanctification.

The president will work with the Board of Trustees to provide administrative, educational, and spiritual leadership for the seminary and to represent the seminary to its many audiences. With the authority from the Board, the president is the chief officer of the seminary who will guide the seminary to achieve the mission of the school.

WBS is an independent seminary that has been serving a variety of denominations across the Wesleyan tradition for 50 years and has seen tremendous growth in the past five years, especially in its Course of Study program for the newly formed Global Methodist Church. The seminary offers MA, MDiv, and DMin programs, as well as an undergraduate program and non-degree learning tracks for lay people. Based in Ridgeland, Mississippi, the WBS learning platform is primarily online, allowing it to serve students across the U.S. and around the world through our Global Pastors Initiative.
