Program Coordinator and Professor of Biblical Studies

Horizon College & Seminary invites applications for a full-time faculty member who will serve as the Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies (MABT) Coordinator and as a professor of biblical studies (open rank). This is an on-campus appointment in Saskatoon, with a start date in June 2025. The successful candidate will be appointed as a faculty member of both Horizon in Saskatoon, SK and Master’s College & Seminary (MCS) in Mississauga, ON, since the two institutions partner to share curriculum, resources, faculty, and staff cross-provincially.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

·         a PhD in biblical studies.

·         strong commitment to the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada’s statement of faith.

·         experience teaching in a Christian college and seminary, including with online teaching.

·         ministry experience in a local church.

·         demonstrated spiritual maturity.

·         disposition or training to work pastorally and in mentored relationships.

·         engaged in scholarly research and writing.

·         excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         high administrative and organizational skills.

·         basic computer literacy to work with and learn various computing platforms.
